Hello My Name Is....INTRO FUN!!
School is back in session and I've been busy reading IEPs, making schedules, checking in on my previous students and meeting my new ones! I found these fun "Hello my name is..." stickers in the dollar store and knew I had to use them!
My students had to come up with an adjective that started with the same letter as their name. They got to write it on their sticker. They then got to place the sticker on their speech folders!! They had so much fun trying to come up with creative answers. I even let them go to thesaurus.com to find some fun synonyms!

Adjective Puzzles!
Do you love adjective activities?! Do your students use the same "big" "good" and "happy" adjectives to describe EVERYTHING!? Here is a fun activity and easy way to practice matching adjectives to the nouns they describe!
How to use this activity:
-Print and laminate the puzzle pieces. You can glue them onto card stock (or a file folder so it is thick and sturdy).
-Students must match the adjectives to the 3 nouns that can best be described by that noun to put together the puzzle.
-You can give students one adjective at a time or place them all on the table and have them put them all together at the same time.
-10 puzzles/adjectives provided!
-Review worksheet and visual aid are provided.

Popcorn Adjectives Sort!
I recently posted a picture on Instagram of me using my Easter Adjectives Sort from my Bunny Word Fun pack. Based on the feedback from that picture/activity, I decided to create a generic themed activity just like it! This way you can use it any time of the year!! Why not a popcorn theme?! Who doesn't love snack food?!
How can you use this activity!?
-Print and laminate the popcorn boxes which contain adjectives labels.
-Print and laminate the popcorn pieces which contains noun images/labels.
-Students can sort the popcorn pieces into the boxes that contains the best adjective to describe it!
-You can introduce one adjective at a time, by opposite pairs, or use all of them and have them displayed across a large table. The choice is yours!
-Review worksheet is included as well!

What Do You See? Magazine Find (FREEBIE!)
Are you getting TONS of catalogs in the mail for back to school?! Are you wondering what to do with them?! Save them! Here is a fun activity to do in the beginning of the year or any time!
Use this fun activity to go on scavenger hunts or search through magazines/catalogs to find describing words. One version is available with the adjectives included (hard/soft) and one blank for you to add your own targets! I chose to use opposites to target that goal as well! You can also add:

BBQing Up Words To Describe Dad!
Are you looking for activities for Father's Day? Are you looking for more describing/adjectives/character trait activities?! This one is for you!
In this file:
-Sort BBQ food into “good” or “bad” categories to describe a person. Can also use food to teach opposites! These vocabulary words can elicit conversations about character traits, what could cause someone to behave a certain way, etc.
-2 Levels included of describing words!
-Students can create a hamburger craft for their father. They can glue the hamburger “fixings” and then color it!! The “fixings” are left blank so students can write describing words learned in the activity onto each piece.
-Hamburger Say & Color: Students must say describing words about their father in order to color each part of the hamburger!

Fish Bowl LCR: Adjectives!
Have you ever heard of the game LCR? I often play this game with social skills groups to encourage interaction. I decided to create a fun version of this game to address a language goal! Use this version of the game to work on adjectives while still encouraging social interaction in a fun and motivating way!
Using this game:
-Print and laminate one “fish bowl” and place it into the center of the table.
-Print and laminate all of the “fish.” Provide each student with 3 fish to start. Put the rest of the fish unused off to the side. You will not need these fish. ((20 fish for each level are provided))
-Print and assemble 3 copies of the dice page.
-Print and visually display the student directions page.
-Students must roll the dice then must pass their fish based on what was rolled (see the student directions for further explanations). Before students can pass their fish to the left, right, or center, they must express a noun that can be described with the adjective listed on the fish being passed. Once the student is done passing or holding onto their fish (depending on what they rolled), then they can pass the dice to the next person. I like to make students pass the dice clockwise. Keep playing and passing until only one student is left with fish!
-2 levels of adjectives are provided so you can use this activity with multiple groups of varying levels!
-The only student remaining with fish is the winner!
-Review worksheets: Review worksheets are provided for the 2 levels. Students must express a noun for the adjective on each fish in order to color it! There are also matching worksheets and cloze sentence worksheets as well! **6 worksheets in all!!**

Potato Peeps Language Games!! 5-in-1!! ((plus a giveaway!))
When I found this graphics set, I knew I had to make something HUGE! I wanted to be able to use the same "game" for multiple targets! Well, it is ready for the world to see!!
Do your students love Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head!? Well this 5-in-1 download is for you!
Using this file:
-Provide a copy of the “potato peeps” page to each student. Boy and girl version are provided! (print and laminate)
-Print, cut apart, and laminate a page of the “potato peeps pieces” for each “potato peeps” page made, enough for each of your students.
-For each game, make a pile of the cards in the center and another pile of the “potato peeps pieces.” I recommend backing each set with a different color this way you can store them all together and can easily select the cards for the same target.
-Students should pick a card and respond with the target of the game (visual is provided for each target type). Each card has a “potato peeps piece” on it. Once students respond accurately, they can take that particular piece from the pile. Students can take turns playing (or one student can keep taking turns) until they have enough pieces to complete a “potato peep.” Visual is provided so students know what pieces they need! If cards run out and no one has a complete potato peep, the student with the most parts is the winner! (48 cards in each game!)
-Game targets:
Synonyms: Students must express a synonym for the word on the card selected.
Antonyms: Students must express a synonym for the word on the card selected.
Multiple Meaning Words: Students must express at least 2 meanings for the word on the card selected.
Adjectives: Students must express an adjective appropriate for the noun on the card selected.
Wh- Questions: Students must answer the question on the card selected.
**Blank set is provided so you can add your own targets to each game!

Ice Cream Adjectives! ((and giveaway!))
My Adjective Aliens activity has been such a hit, I decided to create another adjectives download to continue working on this tricky skill!
Have fun learning, practicing, and using adjectives with this fun ice cream themed activity pack!
In this file:
-Sort by Senses: Students will sort the adjectives by the senses used to determine that quality.
-Describing Cones: Each cone will have an adjective. Students will have to add the ice cream scoops (nouns) to the appropriate cone. Which cone will have the most scoops!? Your students can have fun guessing!
-Color by Adjective: Students must express a noun that can be described by each adjective in order to color the picture provided!
-Board Game: Print and laminate the game. Students can take turns rolling a dice and moving across the board. On each spot they land on, there will be an adjective. They must express a noun that can be described by that adjective in order to complete their turn.
-Listening for Adjectives: Students will pick a card and hand it to a teacher/SLP/peer to read. They must listen to the sentence and express the adjective they heard. If they pick the “sweet tooth” card, they get an extra turn. At the end of the game, students can count how many cards they have. The student with the most cards is the winner.
-Complete the Sentence Card Game: Students will pick a card and express an adjective to complete the cloze sentence provided. Once they respond with an adjective that makes the most sense, they can hold onto their card. Each card has a point value, 1-5. Once all of the cards are used or time runs out, students can add up their points to determine a winner.

Valentine's Day Adjectives Sort! FREEBIE!
