Rainy Day Synonyms! (freebie!!)
April showers bring May flowers! April is here! It's looking like the weather forecast for the next week or so is looking like a lot of rain here. I may be on spring break but I know many of you are already back at work after yours. Is it rainy by you?! Looking for some fun rainy day themed materials? How about a freebie to work on synonyms using context clues?! Check out this one!!
Four clouds with adjectives are provided. Students must match the raindrop sentences with the cloud that has the synonym of the underlined word! Encourage students to use their context clues to help figure it out!

Butterfly WH Questions Fun!!
Are you looking for more ways to work on WH questions?! How about more spring themed materials?! Then, this one is for you!! I used a similar format as my WH Question Train Fun pack and created a butterfly themed one!!
What will you find in this activity pack?!?!
-Visual for answering four types of wh- questions: who, what, where, and when.
-Sorting answers to wh- questions: sort cards to “who” “what” “where” and “when” cards. Can use file folder or sort on a table.
-Board game and task cards to practice responding to variety of questions.

Spring Round Up! (Freebies, materials, ideas, and more!)
The sun is out and I think I feel spring around the corner!! The snow has melted and people are starting to smile again! As the official start of spring approaches, it is time to pull out those spring materials and prepare some new ones for your students! This round up can help you prepare for the weeks ahead!!

Spring Expanding Vocabulary Fun! (EET COMPANION PACK!)
It is finally here!! My spring EET companion pack!!
You can use this with your LOVED Expanding Expression Tool (which you can learn more about by clicking HERE!). ***Reminder this is a companion pack and is for for use WITH the EET!***
What is included in this COMPANION pack?
Expanding Vocabulary Flower Game:
-Print and laminate a flower pot for each student.
-Print and laminate the flowers and place them in the middle.
-Print and laminate the visual/directions and display them for your students. If you have a Smart Board you can display this page on it for your students to see while playing. This will help them understand what they need in order to win!
-Place the object pile in the middle. Students will take turns picking an object. On each object card is an EET “bead”. They must express the describing concept requested (EET bead). Once they express that description, they can locate the flower that has that EET bead on it. Students will take turns picking an object and describing it while adding flowers to their flower pot until all of the cards run out. The first student to fill their flower pot with all 7 types of flowers/EET beads is the winner! (**48 object cards included!**)
Also included:
-Review worksheets are included!!
-A generic board game is included that can be used with any targets. Students must roll a dice to move along the game board. They must express the description based on the space they land on. All spaces have correlating EET “beads.”

Spring Roll, Say & Color! Articulation Fun!
I've been working hard to get this one out in time for you to plan ahead!! Although it is still freezing here, I've got spring on my mind!! Why not plan ahead for spring materials! I know you have been patiently waiting for this one!! Who doesn't love more articulation materials, especially ones that do not require color ink or laminating?!
Grab 2 dice, print the page of the target sound working on, and some crayons and you are ready! No laminating involved!
Students roll the two dice. One dice will tell them which row to look at. The second dice will tell them to count across to determine the target word to say! You can even make them say that word that many times!!!
Once they say the target, they can color the themed picture!
Keep rolling and practicing those target sounds until the entire page is colored! There are 36 opportunities to practice each target sound! Can send home the worksheet for review home practice!

Spring Early Language File Folder Activities!
Although there is still snow on the ground, I think it is appropriate to start creating spring materials!! First on the to do list, my spring file folder activities!! I love using these with my low functioning students that are working on basic theme vocabulary, answering basic wh- questions, pronouns, and expanding utterance length!
Activities that can be used as file folder activities or printed and used as is. Activities are created to build vocabulary, use complete sentences, and answer questions while incorporating theme concepts. Tons of visuals and sentence strips provided!
Activities included:
-What Do They Have?: Print and glue the boy and girl images onto one side of a file folder. For each item card, students must use the sentence strips provided to express which person has the different items. This activity can also be used to work on “who” questions, pronouns, and possessives.
-I Spy In The Spring Scene: Print the scene picture. Students can use the visual to locate all of the named items. Goals you can address with this activity: prepositions, answering/asking questions, describing, and using vocabulary in complete sentences.
-What Color Is It?: Students will sort the spring items into the correct color category. Each color has a sentence strip to encourage students to expand utterances as they express the different colors.
-Singular or Plural?: Students will sort the spring items into the correct category, singular or plural. They can use the sentence strip to express which category it belongs into.

Bunny Synonyms! ((Freebie))
Have fun practicing expressing synonyms with this fun bunny/spring/Easter themed board game!
To use:
-Open-ended game board is provided. Print and laminate. Use a dice and game pieces.
-Print and laminate the carrot cards. Each carrot has a word. The student must express a synonym of the word on the card in order to take a turn in the game.

Bunny Word Fun!
It just hit me that Easter is around the corner. Well, it is time to have a bunny themed activity pack ready to go!! Have fun building vocabulary and comprehension with this pack!
In this file:
-Compare/Contrast Cards: Students must use the visual provided to explain how the items on the card are similar and different. If they pick the “lose a turn bunny” they will lose a turn. The student with the most cards at the end of the game is the winner!
-Bunny Basket Describing Sort: Each basket has an adjective. Each egg has a noun. Students can sort the nouns into the best adjective that can be used to describe it.
-Listening For Bunny Descriptions: Provide each student with a coloring page. Read the descriptions provided. The students must determine which bunny is being described. Then, they must color the bunny as described.
-Basket Sequencing Sentences: Print and laminate the basket sequencing page. Print, laminate, and mix up the sentence provided. Students must sort each set of 3 sentences in order to create a story in the correct sequence. Encourage the students to use the sequencing vocabulary included on the sorting page. Each “story” has a different image on it to help you quickly grab and go!

Spring Listening Fun!
March is here and I am all about getting ready for spring (let's ignore the bit of snow last night). Keep reading to learn more about this listening skill pack with a fun spring theme!
In this download:
-Listening for Categories: Students will pick a card and give it to a teacher/SLP/peer to read. They will listen to the details and answer questions related to the category. Then they can take a turn in the board game provided.
-Listening for Sequences: Students will pick a card and give it to a teacher/SLP/peer to read. They will listen to a short paragraph and then answer a question to respond with either first, second, or third in the sequence presented. Encourage students to use sequencing vocabulary when they respond! If the student picks the card, “Stung! Lose a turn” bumble bee card, they lose a turn. The student with the most cards at the end of the game is the winner!
-Spring Buddies Listening for Descriptions: Give each student a coloring page. Read the clue cards and have the students listen for the descriptions to guess which “spring buddy” is being described. Then they can color the pictures based on the descriptions heard.

It is so cold out!! I am trying to think warm thoughts and decided to finish my newest creation, Spring Word Fun!! Check it out:
-Wh- Question Card Game: Students will pick a card and answer the wh- question provided. After accurately responding, the student can hold onto their cards. If they pick the “lightning” card, they will lose a turn. The student with the most cards at the end is the winner.
-Object Function Board Game: Students will express functions of the objects provided while playing the board game provided.
-Context Clues Kites: Students will pick a card and use the context clues to determine the meaning of the underlined/bolded word. Each card has a point value (1-5). Students will add up their points at the end of the game to determine a winner.
-Birdhouse Describing Fun: Use the visual provided to teach students how to describe. Students should select a card and use the visual to describe it. For each description said, they will earn a point. Once the student runs out of describing words, they next student will get a turn. At the end, all points should be added up to determine the winner.
