Patriotic Plurals ((plus FREEBIE))

I just glanced at a calendar and realized that July 4th is next week!  Holy cow!  I won't be starting working again until after the holiday but I know some of you are already in summer school mode!  For you...I created a Patriotic themed activity to work on plural nouns!  Keep reading!

Have fun identifying and expressing regular and irregular plurals with this 4-in-1 activity!

In this activity:
-Regular vs. Irregular Plurals sort: students can sort the plural noun cards into the appropriate category.  There is a worksheet provided to document answers.

-Regular Plurals Matching Cards: Print and laminate or glue cards onto card stock.  Use cards for drilling or playing memory matching games.  Students can practice matching the singular and plural pair!  Review worksheet provided!

-Irregular Plurals Matching Cards: Print and laminate or glue cards onto card stock.  Use cards for drilling or playing memory matching games.  Students can practice matching the singular and plural pair!  Review worksheet provided!

-Story Fill-In Fun:  Print (and laminate for safe keeping) the story page.  Can use one for the group or provide a copy for each student.  Print and laminate the plural choice cards.  Students can read the story and decide which plural will fill in the blanks to help the story make sense.  There is a worksheet provided to document responses.
