Dear ESL Teachers,
I know I've promised to write all my posts in both Portuguese and English, but what happens is that my last post is mostly for the portuguese teachers.
Even so, I can summarize it by saying that while using a Story in class we must always give our pupils a purpose to listen to it. On the case of my story, I used images and before I started telling the story I aked them to try to steel 4 words from me in english which they had understood the meaning. Some of them ended up with a list of 9! I was proud of them and encoraged them to keep focused.
